Sam,

There are times when averaging down has been the wrong action for me, but as a whole I have had much success with it. I rarely average down more than once because I figure that if it is so persistently moving down that there may be something I just don't understand. I averaged down once on DSS. It's nice to see it moving.

By the way, sorry to hear you sold your HTCH at a bad time. Who knows? You may be glad you did before it's over.

<<I find it hard to believe that LTO will actually get off to a fast start, or that there won't be bugs in it. If SDLT gets out in Sept, that will be soon enough>>
Sam, I would expect both LTO and SDLT to have bugs and slow ramps. Sad truth is, it will be a long time before we know how well they are really going. Even with EXBT, which is much more communicative, the actual ramp speed was descernable only with hindsight ( remember the 700 and 8000 ramps?).
With respect to EXBT, we should see a few positive announcements by the next conf call including a Creekpath VC investmnent. -Z
