Gene,

Either Intel, Samsung, Micron, Via, ALI, SiS, AMD, etc., etc., are really stupid, or DDR will work.

I'd certainly suggest the perpetual schedule delays are something to think about.

Plus, keep in mind that the first generation may work, but how many generations of a dead-end technology will there be?

Finally, remember from our previous discussions that DDR can only sustain at 65% of max theoretical speed (vs 90% for RDRAM) and from what I remember has slightly worse latency than SDRAM (something to do with only being able to do the first transfer on one edge or the other of the clock (different clocks for data and commands, or something like that)).
