I live on a mountain side some miles below Aspen, Co. This will be my first visit into Canada. I am a mountain man in Colorado. My family has ranched and farmed Colorado since 1887. My great grandmother homesteaded north of here in 1917 when the indians still had a few residents around here. In the winter it used to lock her and the kids in the cabin for up to a month at a time. My grandmother told me of 17 foot snowdrifts that would cover the cabin. She said one time they had to climb out the chimney to get out of the cabin. Now we have lears fly in from around the world to ski. Two hours from sun and 85 degrees to the highest peak. Amazing.
