Sumbody's full of it. If he is her husband, the diddle was legal, no matter the age. We never hear the whole story, only the titillating parts.

Husband!? At 13? Someone might have noticed when they got married. Is that legal? And if it is, how can it be rape? Sounds Kafkaesque or something. I marvel at these boys being taken advantage of by these "older" women. Why couldn't it have happened to me?

There has to be more to it than that. There can be no statutory rape between a legally married husband and wife. a. She diddled him before they got married. Bingo, was statutory rape then. b. They weren't legally married; either he was below the age limit (in most states it's at least 14, though in a few it is lower), or he didn't have parental or court permission (if you're under a given age, usually 16 to 18, you have to have parental or court permission to marry, depending on the state). In Washington, for example, you have to be 18 to marry; if the parties are under 17, the marriage is invalid unless a superior court judge waives that section fo the statute. No parental consent in Washington. So either they had sex before marriage, or the marriage was invalid. So in either case, she wasn't accused of statutory rape of her husband.
