Not sure....Between $51/52, there does seem to be a lot of selling...don't know about the shorting...Pretty obvious though that the buying comes in strong right below $50 now.

Hi Truff:

CMRC is acquiring APNT. Deal was announced late June. It still hasn't closed so there is some arbitrage until the deal closes.

My opinion is that there is a lot of arbitrage going on with CMRC due to the APNT buy out.
I hope that when the deal is finalized the short interest in CMRC will diminish. The deal is supposed to be done in 60 to 90 days which should be around Sept. I would think that the MM's know there is a huge arbitrage position in the stock and as the deal gets closer to being done they would recognize the short interest.

KM

Per this press release (thanks DWG) the deal will close between 75 - 90 days (Sept. 5 - 20th). Option ex. is the 15th & the auto exchange is targeted to be up (and running??) by the end of Sept.

I entered a position last Friday figuring its forming a nice coil (besides the fundamentals of strong revenue growth) and it won't break to the downside unless the market breaks down.
