I would not be so sure that he did no harm. He taught people that execrable behavior is no great matter. So what if you are a terrible liar, you can grow up to be president! So what if you have no discretion or self- control, all you need to do is play the sax on Arsenio and people will think you are a swell guy. So what if you keep getting into jams that require all of your energy to get out of, the country can run itself, and when worse comes to worse, you can always find someone to bomb to get it off the front page..........
