Yes, long overdue. As is a decision which they haven't yet made (to my knowledge) to similarly license the PersonalJava platform for VxWorks. Come on Wind: make it easy for us to use your platform. Last time I asked, they wanted a $(significant multiple of 10K but I can't tell you what it was) for access to a JDK that would run under VxWorks. Too expensive for my pocket, and I suspect most developers who moonlight stuff at home before trying it at work. P.
