CMGI restructuring story has been about for a while.
Glad to see David Andonian taking the reins.

Haven't seen the Pats becoming customers: have seen that Navi will provide hosting for the Pats site and the other cos. will set up that site for free, that is for a generated ads revenues.

Now, when D. Andonian sez "Our roots have always been as an operating business, but we just weren't getting credit," ,

c'mon Premier, we were praying last year on the CMGI board for that company to become operating (they had a rough time not beeing classified as a holding company).

Also remember DW saying that he preferred to leave more time for the ventured companies to "mature" before being IPOed. Too late now, for many investments. And some of these should never have been companies in the first place

"Andonian said combining CMGI majority-owned Web hosting and infrastructure companies, for example, would make their operations more efficient and competitive. "
Better now than never. But what a waste of time and waste of shareholders value.

Any operating earnings in sight? Or will it only be creative accounting?
