Don,

Since it is obvious you think the game is over..

I believe that if the Seahawks score on the opening drive, Carl also stands up and shouts "We Won! BWAHAHHAHAHA! Losers! Losers!" at the other team.

Of course, the real analogy in this case would be the other team is up 21 to 0, then the Seahawks score, and Carl stands up and shouts the aforementioned.

Just kidding <G>.

Dave

Hi Don Green; Re goal lines in the DDR vs RDRAM contest...

Lets make it fair, and set up some goal posts for both sides...

RDRAM reaches 25% of the DRAM market = touchdown RDRAM!!!

DDR out ships RDRAM in 1Q01 = touchdown DDR!!!

DDR gets 25% of workstation PC market = field goal DDR!!!

AMD announces an RDRAM chipset = field goal RDRAM!!!

DDR DIMMs and motherboard available on Priceline = field goal DDR!!!

RDRAM available from Kingston at 10% over the price of Kingston PC133 SDRAM = field goal RDRAM!!! (In context of heavy use of the stuff.)

DDR available from Kingston at 10% over the price of PC133 SDRAM = field goal DDR!!! (In context of heavy use of the stuff.)

Dell announces DDR based PCs = field goal DDR!!! (Other than the Nvidia cards they already have.)

Nvidia announces RDRAM based graphics card = field goal RDRAM!!!

Sun redirects MAJC towards SDRAM or DDR, or announces DDR based processor while continuing to let MAJC languish = field goal DDR!!!

Transmeta announces support for RDRAM = field goal RDRAM!!! (Plus, I will be quite amazed.)

There, that's a start. Want to add some more?
