HL Camp gives you the buy and sell program numbers at www.programtrading.com - It is worth writing them on a post-it note and watching the futures premium number. For RealTick the symbol is $spinx - I imagine it is another way to measure the pulse of the market, but in working with new traders, I find that they are always fascinated by the phrase "program trading," as if it is the holy grail of indicators. They really enjoy learning about it, but other than having a vague idea what is going on, I am yet to see how to make money off it. It's fun to watch at the open, and calling out "program buying" on a trading floor makes you sound smart, but that's about all I can see in it.

Watch as the numbers get to program buy or sell points, you kinda have to guess where will the big ones come in, but its in the levels where the premium suggests they will happen. Then key on on Tier1 stocks which are usually the first to see action. I dont normally use this to trade, but thats how some people I know us it.
