Where's the winky-face Jim? I just looked on Pricewatch, and most of the 1 GHz AMD chips are in the 4s and 5s (hundreds). Weren't they up around a grand before? There is nobody in the world cutting electronic component prices at all right now besides AMD, much less letting the bottom fall out of them. If I were a stockholder, I'd be pissed and worried at the same time. The first is because it's taking revenue and profit off the table, which would affect my stock price; the second because I couldn't sleep wondering what they're doing.
