Kodiak_Bull: You asked--"But where was he (i.e., Marshall Adkins of Raymond James) in March of 1999". Actually, some of us who were here back then will, I'm sure, remember an extremely bullish 5-page position paper on natural gas put out around that time by the Raymond James firm. I still have my copy somewhere with its prediction of high prices for natural gas (due to high demand and productions shortfalls) starting last winter and lasting even beyond then. I believe that Slider was the one who first called that report to our attention.

kodiak bull,

In March of 1999 Marshall predicted the NG shortage and projected gas to go to $10.00 per MCF in the winter of 1999/2000. He was a little early in his predictions.
