Doug /OT. MWD not used much where we are. That technology is more important in areas where you are "stepping out" into more exploratory type prospects or where there are dangerous high pressure formations you may have to drill through that can really kick.

Most of the Illinois work is close in developmental with pretty good sub-surface control. And the productive zones are relatively low permiability and low pressure. By the same token, Illinois oil wells are not prolific producers compared to more geopressurized, higher perm producing wells with thicker net pay in other geologic provinces.

A large volume of information has been accumulated over the decades on most of these old fields and pay zones. So you have a pretty good idea of your drilling into most of the time. Doesn't mean the problems are easy to solve, just that, IF you've done your homework, you more or less know what they are.
