The world does not revolve around them either. Get this straight: no one's needs are greater than my inalienable rights. Something the Founding Fathers understood well. You seem to miss it entirely.

America was not based on needs, on favors to the group that whined the loudest, on political favors and political pull. Nor was it even based on law (as you hear misstated often today). It was based on individual rights which no one and no group (even the State, especially the State) had a right to violate for any reason.

The "Nation of Laws" the media is so happy to mouth all the time, were supposed to be objective laws protecting the rights of individual American citizens.

That concept has been going up in smoke for more than 80 years.
