American Millennium Corporation, Inc. Announces Sale of 1,000 VisTrac Units for Truck Fleet Deployment in Central America
GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 2000--American Millennium Corporation, Inc. (OTCBB:AMCI - news) announced today that Costa Rica-based SCCA Satellite Communications Central America has placed an initial order for 1,000 VisTrac(TM) satellite-based systems for tracking and monitoring truck fleets in Costa Rica and Panama.

AMCI Chairman and Vice President of Business Development, Stephen F. Watwood said: ``We are pleased with the relationship that has developed between SCCA and AMCI over the past two years. They have conducted numerous tests and have confirmed that the AMCI VisTrac(TM) technology fully meets their expectations.''

Max Leimer, Vice President of Purchasing and Development for SCCA said: ``The AMCI VisTrac(TM) system exceeds the requirements and functionality for our deployment in the trucking industry in Panama and Costa Rica. There is a real need for tracking, telemetry, and messaging in Central America, and is of the highest importance for the trucking and insurance industries.''

Mr. Watwood said this is the first of several orders expected from SCCA totaling 4,000 systems.

According to AMCI VP of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer Bruce R. well I miss the pre-crash money machine thats for sure!!!!
I am looking at the big picture though....some of my holdings are down because of market conditions and I am holding steady.....takes the fun out of trading on a daily/weekly basis but I figure why take losses when you know that market conditions eventually will turn around.
besides I am not a daytrader and my nerve for doing that is slim to none.....
I have been enjoying the time "fishing" for bottom stocks and watching and observing some of my finds.....some REAL big losers and others turn out great....in time I will learn to better use the proverbial "weed wacker" and have a better success rate.....
I will tell you this though, it's fun as hell to find a stock then a week later see it as a pick from a newsletter or spammed all over the place as the "pick of the century" - LOL ......The trouble with that though is having the confidence in buying something and the patience to "wait" for the day to come everyone else notices it...
I have learned much here not only how to look for stocks but on trading as well....tons of room for improvement for sure but while I am no expert, I am not a beginer either and I pity those who follow all the time without trying their hand at doing their own thing.
one thing for sure...this is one hell of a crowd....and having fun is certainly right up there with making coin!!!

my best,

MEB
