Interesting post. This distills the dramatic shift in prowess of these two companies: Intel used to have vast process superiority and manufacturing muscle. Intel parts were held in regard as having a huge lead over AMD in over-clocking headroom and stability. Now, Intel is "faking it instead of making it". AMD parts have become the undisputable leaders in stability and ability to over-clock. I would not have thought that possible even just a few months ago. I think AMD is on tract to surprise analysts and investors alike with superior performance.
