Hmm, it could be one of the embedded 486 class processors. They have a bunch, the SC410, the SC520 (which BTW is a really nice (almost) PC on a chip- 486DX4-133 core, PCI bus, ISA bus, all timers, IRQ controller, Real time clock, 66MHz SDRAM interface:$40) Does anyone know where MyTurn.com is getting these old AMD 486 chips? Thanks techieguy, PT, comb, and Dan I thought I was the only one who did not know about the x486 chip. But based on your responses, AMD should make some $ on these chips; however I can't figure out why I found the release in the Intel news section rather than the AMD section. ted
