They are programmed... and more and more of the American populace is being programmed. It starts at an early age -- as early as 3-year olds watching children's TV shows and attending pre-school, and builds from there. The preponderance of American school children attend public (read federally controlled) schools. I contend these schools have become little more than propaganda factories. It takes exceptional self-esteem -- a strong sense of identity -- and the ability to think independently to survive this system. Because they have been trained that illusion is more "real" than reality, they have come to accept the illusion of freedom and the fantasy of liberty instead of demanding the real things. FT
