"AMD at 30% market share will make Mani very rich. It is possible, again not likely, that Mani will be rich 18 months from now."

Comment: AMD may not require 30% market share before its price makes you rich (i.e 3 x $35)...Given that currently AMD has the richest product lineup in its history, that AMD is offering the best price/perforomance product in both its world leading flash and microprocessor divisions, that AMD's Dresden fab is state of the art and ramping up beyond management expectations, that AMD's current revenue growth rate exceeds 50% per annum this year and probably next as well, that AMD looking forward will continue to provide record breaking quarters for the foreseeable future, it should not be surprising if we see a major revaluation before very long...Let us not forget that in 1997, when AMD last showed 2, and only 2 successive positive earnings quarters, that AMD traded at $48.50...and those 2 successive quarters of earnings were Q1'97 = $0.09 and Q2'97 = $0.07...That compares with the recent positive string of Q4 = $0.22, Q1 = $0.57, Q2 = $0.60, Q3(est) = $1.00, Q4(est) = $1.50...In summary, there was a time in 1997 when AMD traded at $48.50 based on Q1 + Q2 earnings of $0.16 compared to today where Q1 + Q2 earnings are $1.17 (i.e not 3 but 7 times what they were when AMD traded at $48.50 3 years ago)...and what's more, looking forward, combined earnings for the next 2 quarters could approach or exceed $2.50 compared to the comparable period loss of $0.31 in Q3 + Q4 in 1997...and what's more again, Mani, is that the current string of 3 successive record breaking quarters shows no sign of abating in the foreseeable future...Yes Mani, you will be rich buying AMD at these levels around $35, and maybe even a lot sooner than your horizon of 18 months!!!
