calaf, You are correct. To this point, the major benefits of CDMA have accrued to the carriers. There are a few consumer benefits, like soft handoff and voice quality, but they tend to be overlooked. With data, the consumer will start to see CDMA benefits they can more readily understand. The handsets will not burn their hands. Battery times should be better. And data speeds will be advertised somewhere in the process. That's all I'm saying. The carriers are the focus, for sure. Cooters
