I'm thinking about picking up some NXTV here for a bounce play. The float has changed hands already on a possible delay of sales to Q.

I don't follow NXTV. I think the fear here is that the orders are not delayed, but are being eliminated. Most of the real money is in sell services to businesses and Q is taking over US West to get access to metropolitan areas. The question the analysts are asking is what priority Q will give to residential customers. I can't see them getting out of the business all together as broadband services such as streaming video will drive demand for back bone capacity. It may just be delayed a few years. I don't think the CLEC will want to enter the low margin business any time soon so there will be limited pressure on them to deploy.

On a technical basis NXTV looks good for a dead cat bounce. I have been avoid those kinds of plays all year due to the volatility, but I think we are entering a more stable environment with an upward bias.

I think this is a play for only a couple of quick points as opposed to a positon play with an intermediate duration.
