Richard, you are notorious for jumping to unfounded conclusions quite hastily and for becoming more irrationally exuberant than even the biggest of equity bulls. Just a couple of weeks ago you were loudly proclaiming a win for Bush. Now he is marginally behind in the most recent polls.

Do you have any evidence thus far that the rise in the POG today is any thing more than a dead cat bounce? I'm not saying that today's bounce is not the beginning of some sort of substantial rally. But that remains to be seen and determined.

You and GATA live in your own little private manipulative worlds. But it is not the world in which investors/traders/money managers try to make sound investment decisions.

Didn't know the $265 was my call, thought it was lower. Why do you assume that since gold is up today that it's not going lower tomorrow {or later today}?

As far as TA is concerned, you haven't had the price washout that precedes a bottom. I'd place all today's gain for gold directly on the head of the Dollar Index:

Beware the bounce of the index
