On the subject of a major market top, Don Hays -- who has an excellent but not perfect record -- thinks we have already seen it in NAZ and will shortly in the rest of the market as well. He is looking for a major bear in 2001 and then a new secular bull to begin in 2002.

But Hays is bullish on the dollar and bonds despite his bearishness on stocks. And he is bullish on gold despite his positive feelings on the greenback and bonds.
