Bush sent his children to the public school system in Texas Sure, the same reason I send my kids to the Austin public schools. The ones that are good are very good. There are ones that are not good in the same district. Schools are segregated on an economic basis (not race or other protected category). The schools in DC are not very good. I think Amy Carter was the only notable person to attend DC public schools. You didn't see Bush-Daddy sending little George to the DC public schools when he was a congressman. TP
