Dear Windsock: Any one could make a design work with much more die area. The hard part is to do it with no or little more die area. Since they built it far bigger, they opted for a quick and dirty bulldozer approach of make it wider and deeper and to hell with the size. That is just another sign of DESPERATION! Instead of taking the BOLD step of admitting it was not working out and trying something else, they will double the cost and hope it will be ok in the end. This SMELLS and your rose colored glasses will not let you see it. When will we see unconstrained benchmarks for this supposed soon to be released product? Pete
