Is there another chip that could be inferred from this quote? Tech_future200x doesn't seem to think so. I don't know.

Some say Sony's Playstation 2 will be a virtual "set-top box" because of its Internet capabilities, DVD player, ease-of-use, and low-cost.

But of course, that all depends on what your definition of "set-top box" is.
