For people that haven't seen it, the SJMN article is at sjmercury.com. The WSJ article is at interactive.wsj.com. As to the timing, it's not clear that he's sold the stock yet. I thought that he just filed to do so. Anyway, he's got such a huge amount of stock, I don't that you can conclude anything about his selling $40M of it. But his complaining about Oracle is consistent with my view of him. At 53 and on his second set of kids he's finally starting to learn something about parenting -- and he's making the usual mistake of then trying to apply these banal insights to everything in life...
