The great Excide detour was caused by one man's fear of a non-existent threat. This reaction however has wasted much time and resources. Had ATHM stayed with their original plan, they would now be in a position regardless of number of subs to partner with Yahoo. Consider presenting Yahoo's content in special ways by using the inherent power of high speed. This obtains the true goal: add revenues unencumbered by cable partner agreements by facilitating other's content. These guys talking about @Home's "content" are blowing smoke through their brains. Excide has hardly changed in a year. "Content clowns" conveniently sweep that under the rug whether they are here or at HQ.
