zorba,

It's just my personal opinion, but my thinking is that the less confidence you have in your knowledge base and in your disposable income, the less you should be investing in anything other than established Gorillas. With increased confidence in both, you might feel more comfortable investing in Kings or pre-tornado Gorilla candidates. If you agree with my thinking about that, you might want to revisit the kind of companies you're currently considering for investment funds.

I never bought exds, and I am out of Elon and Cree. I keep consolidating in the Gorillas. I suggest you do the same.

I'll attempt an answer at this one even though it wasn't addressed to me. While I personally like CREE (but I purchased it at much lower prices) somebody in your situation would be better off with established gorillas. It also might be preferable to buy a smaller number of shares of more companies. The tiny price premium you pay for odd lots isn't significant in LTB&H, and you get some protection from the diversity. It's admirable to start saving so soon - every dollar will have a chance to compound for a long time.

zorba, I will be surprised if you get advice here, but I'll bet you get questions.

What about EXDS makes you think it will be a rulemaker, King, Gorilla, or whatever? Ask this same question about CREE and ELON. Rank 'em. Stack 'em. Buy 'em or sell 'em.

BTW, why not buy some QCOM, INTC, or CSCO?
