Happiness......

>>It would depend on the good thing
I love Chambord- but I don't want to dropped in the middle of an ocean of it

I don't suppose you can have to much happiness- but grief (is that a good thing? I think it can be)- you can definitely have too much of. Many drugs are good things- but too much of them will kill you. I am a moderate person, and moderation has made me very happy. I sense that you wish we were all immoderate like you. Your way may be fine for you- I don't know, I can't tell- but MY way is fine for me. And JBE's way is good for HER. And Neocon's way is good for him. So we don't need to GO anywhere to be happy and fulfilled, possibly even as happy and fulfilled as you think you are.>>

X:

First off, here I thought Neocon was another X. Gosh, you just deflated my sense of awareness. There are always surprises at every turn that make life so exciting.

One of the core "problems" we all stitch ourselves into is the feeling/belief that life has to be like a delicate egg tossing, side stepping, tippy-toeing journey through the personal peacock feathers of individual egos, etc.

NOT!!

I liken the judgmental ego-constrained world we live in to a straightjacket. Every person, group, company, association becomes another Survivor story - back stabbing, intrigue, either you are "out" or "in" and all the resulting sense of pain/loss/fear.

I just call a call yesterday from a friend of my wife's who's a single mom with a child that has diabetes. She just got laid off without ANY notice right after she got back to work for Alligence (sp?) the division which used to be part of HP. She was angry, livid!!! But I didn't buy into her anger and story of blame. I told her that 7 months of severence was actually a blessing and I told her she should stop cold the negative thoughts/feelings for they would just separate her from her internal energy source which we all need to live happy lives and be productive to serve others.

The rage was caused by the fact that her boss didn't even have the guts or courtesy to give her a face to face heads up, etc.

I encouraged her to love her boss and HP. I challenged her to think of how HP was actually trapped worse in their paradigm of fear than she and others on the outside were. That she could actually reach out to her former boss and co-workers to go into partnership with them to help others.

This woman just got her MBA along with my wife and by the end of the call I hope I gave her a sense of hope and a feeling that there's this unlimited store of energy out their for all of us to tap into at any time.

This idea that there are limits to energy, light and love - "I win vs. You lose" - it ludicrous!! I used to buy it along with everyone else, but it wasnt' until I "let GO" that things really started to happen. It wasn't until I started looking at the world from a completely "new" perspective - a wonderous garden of blessing, light, hope and love to share with others - that the energy and personal transformation took hold.

Sure, we all get little glimpses of our personal energy at these cherished "right" moments in our lives. But I've found that these moments can be continuous, always on, etc. That there are limits, definitions, boundaries to ANYTHING is the lie which we've all bought into.

For we are limitless, spiritual beings. And as such, anything/anywhere/anytime that places limits, definitions, boundaries, labels, walls only serve to separate us from the massive internal source of energy, light and love that's actually ALWAYS ON inside us.

It's when we move away from the "freedom" and timelessness of the present moment into the horizontal/literal dimension of time that we find ourselves "at war" with our inner spirit/energy/heart and soul.

Some individuals are great at distracting themselves and others from this inner voice/energy, but you can't run from it. It's always there. A timeless, spiritual dimension that comes from our eternal inner nature which God blessed us with.

We are all connected to the same beam/circuit of light/energy and the common bond/feeling that brings us all higher and together is LOVE.

Sorry for the long-winded response. And please, I forgive myself and others if this comes across as "high and mighty."

Peace.
