Re: As long as AMD keeps losing marketshare....this is starting to feel like dead money at this level.

Then why don't you just short it?

Re:starting to feel like dead money at this level

I am really lost by that, I grant you that amd dropped from its all times highs a while back but the recent few days are very good. AMD did not regain its old ground yet but it seems that the best intel pr are doing no damage to amd either. (come to think of it most of the damage by intel pr now is to intel)

re:As long as AMD keeps losing marketshare

amd is aiming at commercial market now and for that they need new product lines that is athlon and duron. All of the unit market share loss was fairly well schetched by amd more than half a year ago. By q4 amd would be almost done with k6 line and the unit share would start to increase, as planned.

It is a pleasure to say that it would not hurt Intel to take some valuable lessons from amd on how to stick with product roadmap and production schedule :-))
BTW, I would never think a year ago that I would be able to say something of the sort with a straight face but.....
