Little napolean! You sound to be bitter. Is it the SNRS loss? Or is it the 60% decline in VLNC? Or maybe the miss on CLS from 12/98?

Incidentally, the way you internet hype artists support each other is ..... enlightening.

<<<most of SI consider him a rather incompetent investment
manager, and generally ignore him.>>>

Haven't read an MGV post since the Ignore feature was started.....I was one of the first to recognize his affliction and don't think it wise to provoke a caged animal...but if you'all find it useful to throw jabs I'm right behind ya'.....have had a laugh or two reading some of your responses....

Paul, thanks for putting Larry in his place!

Long and Strong...

MJ

klemencic picks

WSTL
Message 14191406 "WSTL is on pace for another blow out quarter"

Message 14354631 "... bought a lot of shares [on 9/8/2000]"

SNRS
Message 14188810

These are recent examples of poor reasoning and shallow analysis. Of course, he has disappeared.

MGV has been calling for this stock to fall to 3...

I do pity you. Even the stocks you alleged as my favorites outperformed the VLNC, SNRS, and WSTL names you promoted and in which you reported your purchases.

These charts speak eloquently.

klemencic's performance on stocks he trumpeted as buys. Performance from roughly the last time he surfaced on soi.

siliconinvestor.com

MCOM down 100%
SNRS down 89%
WSTL down 88%
VLNC down 63%

If he simply had bought and held the stocks shown below that he criticized, he likely would have still been showing up on these chat boards. Over longer periods of time, the disparity in performance is larger still.
siliconinvestor.com
If you are a trader like curtis who never makes a losing trade (that he reports), performance with the following names would be even better.

MIKL up 25%
EYE down 3%
LVCI down 45%

Why continue to hold him accountable for his representations? What he said was egregiously wrong. It was wrong when he said it. Time has proven it. He held himself out as a skilled stockpicker and likely influenced others to make serious mistakes. Hopefully the passage of time makes it clear to those who thought otherwise then. It pays to be skeptical of posts that promote speculative stocks on internet chat boards.

MGV has been calling for this stock to fall to 3...
... for about 2 years. He showed up the night after the 10K was filed with the SEC in June 98. The stock opened around 5 the next day and closed around 5 1/2, so the stock is up 300% since then. He has been in complete denial that his original call was incorrect.

3 years later VLNC is down when the market is up. SNRS is down over 90% to around $1.00 per share. WSTL also is down to around $1.00 per share. MCOM is now MCOMQ and has not traded in weeks. It was clear in 1998 what this guy was all about. It should be clear to you now.

"MGV has been calling for this stock to fall to 3..."

What a great call!

In truth, it was too easy to be a great call.

It is the only thing at least minimally accurate that klemencic ever wrote here. He forgot to mention other easy calls critical of SNRS, Winstar, and a few others that have disappeared such as MCOM and Globalstar. What was clear to a few should now be clear to all. klemencic must have lost a ton of money if he followed his own advice.
