I can't disagree with anything you said.., but inflation is more then disposable income. It is also a measurement of the debt load and value of the currency. Bush's extended tax cuts will produce an imbalance in those factors responsible for our years of growth. Productivity - smaller government - national debt reduction - low inflation - consumption - wage growth...!

Seeking moderation and Centrist policies for reducing the debt service, securing social security, reducing government, and providing modest tax relief for entrepreneurial activities and savers, will maintain the balance.

Either extreme will open the gates for the pigs to eat the apples.
