This imagined competitive struggle between AOL and ATHM, or narrowband and broadband, is a useless and misleading construct.

It's the minor detail of convincing 30+ million subs(domestically) to change from another system to your system. Yeah, that's pretty useless. Let's focus on other stuff, like which dictionary is the best.
