Oracle and NETP. This is the welcome, but rare kind of informative post that is worth repeating:

more re NETP and ORCL (w/links)

In advance of the reportedly planned unveiling of oraclesalesonline.com on Monday and in an effort to determine exactly what role NETP products will have in that site, I've taken a closer look at what the main oracle.com site has to say about NETP. Here's what I've found:

ORCL press release 5/15/2000 announcing portal partners including NETP:
oracle.com Partner Initiative&limit=50&fy=2000
(However, this talks only about Oracle's portal products. Other links below seem to hint that Oracle is integrating NETP products into other parts of its "e-business suite" and the new ASP but I have yet to find definitive confirmation of this, and in fact NETP is NOT mentioned at oracle.com

Partner Description: NETP:
solutions.oracle.com
(including links to brief summaries of Net Perceptions for Ad Targeting and Net Perceptions for E-commerce)

Product Preview: Oracle CRM 11i
oracle.com
(doesn't mention NETP explicitly but uses promotional language we're all quite familiar with, including "true 360-degree view of your customer" and "true one-to-one relationships by harnessing integrated information from all customer touchpoints.")

Oracle Web Store:
oracle.com
(mentions NETP as among solution providers)

So in summary, I'd still like to see a more complete explanation of how ORCL integrates NETP products.
