rsurckla, re: I would also note that the "Athlon" used in the benchmarks is a T-bird, not an Athlon classic, and the heatsink is positively massive. Makes an "Alpha" look like a toy.
Try as I might, I can't even find a CPU in any of the foto's, much less a "massive heatsink."

I think he's looking at the card in the 4XAGP connector. Don't know what else he could see that would give the impression of a "massive" heatsink. In fact all the CPU's are socketed. JMHO's

Re: richard surckla's lies, "More regarding ali's DDR mobo..."

Everything richard has said here is complete rubbish.

The text "jives" perfectly with the slides. The text does not claim 750. One of the slides clearly shows an average 65% better performance. The board has 3 DIMM slots. There is no massive heatsink. The comparison to an alpha is ludicrous (I use an alpha, I know). There is no other system ALI could have done a more accurate comparison to than a KT133 based one, and the Microstar board is a good one at that. The text states (I don't remember if this was in that translation, but it's in mine) that ALI is already shipping samples of the four chipsets, and volume commercial shipments will be in the second part of the 4th quarter, or about three months from now, not over six like richard trys to lead one to believe.

I'm so disgusted by his posting of these misleading, outright lies that I refuse to even respond to him directly. As a representative of a typical Rambus long, he makes me sick.

Sincerely,

Henry
