I agree that the whole world is (and has been for a long time) going towards higher transmission speeds, but you are ignoring the fact that Rambus is on a bus, while ADT is a point 2 point system. I would rewrite your statement to be: "the whole platform world is going toward higher transmission speeds, point to point, and fewer signal pins." That is not precisely in the direction of Rambus. -- Carl
