What a great post. It reminds me of a jai-alai betting system a friend of mine developed many years ago, which he mathematically proved would work if implemented properly (and it did). Whenever people told him that he was crazy to pursue it because jai-alai was "fixed" (leaving aside whether that was true), he said "I don't care, because it's not fixed against ME."

On the OTC-BB, or even NASDAQ small-cap, there are all sorts of tricks and manipulations going on all the time. Every time a stock moves, whether up or down, for good reasons, for no reason or due to someone's scheming, it presents an opportunity for a trader. If he decides to play, sometimes the unseen manipulation works against him, and sometimes it turns a good trade into a great one. Over time, it should all balance out.

APAKHABAR...

I am glad you like the thread and your quality input thus far is appreciated. May I give you some advice however?

Even as an investor/daytrader, you should NEVER use the word "manipulation" to describe your trading strategies. This is a taboo word and the SEC does not like it. You never know what gold-digging ambulance chasing cretan might try to pin something on you for simply stating that (while we all know how ridiculous 'personal responsibility' is in today's NOT-ME society, you never know!).

Just my opinion. I personally use legal, ethical methods to make markets when I trade and do not consider anything I do to be 'manipulative'.

All the best,

-- Gene
