If you limited the chips to 62C, ala Intel, they could be sold as 1.15GHZ chips - and AMD is filling store shelves and pricewatch with them at around a $500 ASP for the chips.

If I tried unlocking the multiplier, I would more likely get the true capability of the CPU. It may be that the PC-133 Cas-2 RAM overclocked 20% might have been the bottleneck.
