Hi Danger! We're still going through cookies and peanut butter like crazy. In fact, the cookies are being prepared right now out in the kitchen. Momma coon just came up to the door about 15 mins ago and let us know there were no cookies ready! They are going through more crunchy dog food now than ever. Guess you heard that momma coon had 3 babies.

Now we have a new baby possum, too.

I posted a critter report just the other day. Here it is below.

Hope all is well. Good luck with the condo.

Hi HG48! Critter report follows... Hey, how's that new place? Got the critters reporting for feeding yet? Maybe some will eventually start coming by since the forest is next door. Hope so.
Great on the morning dove. Notice there are usually two. Heard they take a mate for life.

Critters here all doing great. Have a new baby possum that wandered up. Looks pathetic. We are trying to put some fat on him. The other night I looked out and the coon family was there, momma and her three babies. We already had the first shift of cookies out plus two trays of crunchy dog food. The baby coon was just standing off to the side waiting for them to finish, too scared to come closer. The baby had that sort of weak, defeated look. Felt so darn sorry for it.

I went outside and moved the trays to one side and put a separate smaller try about 15 feet away from the direction the possums come from, which is different than momma coon.

After a few minutes, I looked out baby possum was eating out of its own tray. So, he got fed.

Looked out last night and he was out there standing in the middle of about 50 vanilla wafers that we had just put peanut butter on. He was in the middle of them all and just licking the peanut butter making a huge mess. The coons eat one at a time, very neat and methodical. I suspect they didn't like having their food scattered that way!

But, all are doing fine. Had one of the coons just last night put his feet on the door again and look in the family room letting us know they were out of cookies. Sittin' there watching TV and all of a sudden there is critter at the door peering in..... what a hoot.
