RR, thank you for that wonderful, informative answer to my question.

I think being a prolific reader is one of the secrets to successful investing also, I certainly share that trait.

I'm interested in what initiates your buy and sell decisions in your option holdings, churning every 5-10 days days. Are you reacting to momentum changes? Being the methodical one that you are, what initiates the selling and then the resultant repurchase. Are these pattern decisions?

That $19.7 million dollar purchase of CIEN calls is a fairly astounding figure.

You didn't ramble at all, that was all very helpful to me, thank you. Scott

RR.

Didn't see nearly enough contracts outstanding after today's move. Must have flipped some already? How many were outstanding yesterday after the big trade?

Just curious. TIA. I appreciate you sharing your approach. Best regards.

RR,

Great post as others have said. Been working on the RR hammer and nice to have more tools to study. Wondering if you notice or have any timing tendencies either by days of the week or am/pm to enter and exit trades??

I've executed, holding JDSU Dec 80s and 90s and bought some SNDK Jan 50s and 55s. Had a shot at turning some SNDK for 20% on Thursday but didn't execute (would have fit into your churning time frame nicely). Holding out for more profit and should have sold half me thinks.

As always, appreciate your hard work on behalf of the rest of us, and I'm studyin'. Tryin' not to get executed!

Will post my learning experiences when I have more for others to learn from (good and bad). Thanks to all the porchies for the great questions and answers. Is this a great place or what? Glad to see people making some $$. There are some bulls out here!

from the front,
