Question for discussion: I am a big fan of that famous "Law of Unintended Consequences". Will the new rule on selective disclosure cause companies to release any and all information during regular market hours and just "let the chips fall where they may"? I would think the company counsel would advise them to do a "Joe Friday", just give us the facts, mam. How the "market" reacts to the facts is not the company"s responsiblity? This would, of course, cause great volitility and wide swings but would also offer great opportunity to the "quick and the brave". LOL
