Kevin, Deeber - this is a fud discussion board - at least in part. Just practising my flamage - no hard feelings Deeber.

I don't know what the Chinese SDA approvals or processes are like. Up till about 3 years ago, the Chinese government denied or brushed over homosexuality, AIDs etc. "It couldn't happen in our perfect little world".

As for AIDs testing of urine; I'm not an expert but I have an enquiry into the Vancouver General Hospital AIDS department to a friend of mine. He thinks its pretty unlikely that the AIDs virus - which has a very short survival lifespan outside the body - could be detected via urine. If this gets long term, then I'll start researching and bashing the patents.

They'll get the official SDA approval, imo, since one of the co-patent holders for the urine test is an official with or heads the National Chinese Agency that reports to the SDA. I have the info at home and will post it. But you're right, this is really old news.
