CS First Boston says NXTV stock "attractive"

FOLLOWING THE DOWNTURN

NEW YORK, Aug 25 (Reuters) - WR Hambrecht on Friday said
analyst Tim Savageaux maintained a strong buy on high-speed
communications equipment maker Next Level Communications Inc.
<NXTV.O> on Friday despite the more than 50 percent drop in
the company's shares Thursday.

--Credit Suisse First Boston said its analyst, James
Parmelee, said the company's near-term visibility remains
excellent.

-- "Stock attractive following the downturn and despite the
lack of upside at Q given current valuation of 11x 2001
sales," Parmelee said.

-- Shares of Next Level on Friday were up 1 to 42-3/4 in the
first minutes of trading.

Is this a buying opportunity or what? We know nothing has happened other than speculation that Qwest are keeping their options open. But the stock price has already declined as though the company has missed several earnings estimates. I predict 75 before 30 on this stock.
