Don't confuse street prices with official pricing. AMD lowered the official price by 38%. Yes, there are some vendors that are selling it even lower but when the price was at $1,000 they also sold it at a lower price. You can't compare the highest price before with the lowest price now. Just do an apples to apples comparison.

That's still a price drop of over 1/3. Regardless if you're talking apples, oranges, peaches, pears, or whatever. Any time any manufacturer drops their prices by greater than 1/3 before introducing a new version, thats significant.

Gotta clear out all the product that isn't selling.
