Rande-I have the same feeling as you do----I am continuing to sell my long terms for better entries in Oct-----HGSI,MLNM,DNA_(even though Bio-techs have been strong)(short term pain).

Rande Is: I find this market impossible to time or guess at. Looking at my SELL decisions, 3 out of 4 have been bad ones. I think that my mantra going forward will be "KISS" -- Keep It Simple, Stupid. I know what the best sectors and best stocks in those sectors are going forward and have done well picking them. My strategy is simply to be patient, wait for selected to come into my buying range, then buy and hold them until March. Only variant on this is that I will sell new purchases if they should drop 8-10% below my buy price.
