Must be nice, very nice. I live in Davie a burb of Ft. Lauderdale west , very west. Lotta traffic, cars and congestion. Only saving factor is I pull into my development 1/4 mile behind a majopr artery and I get away from it all.The homes in my devloment are all on an acre. I live in a calde-sac in the way back. It allows us to escape the city into the country. Sometimes I think it is the best of both worlds, sometimes I don't.

I am looking to buy a couple acres further up th ecoast in florida to build a new house and hopefully retire in a couple 5/10 years.

I have lived almost my whole life in the country. I just moved last week from my horse farm. Where my neighbors were my horses. I think at this point in my life I am looking to add human beings into my life. In Colo. I lived in a town of pop.8 and in Calif. my back yard was Big Basin National Park, 1800 acres of beautiful redwoods to explore and be at peace with. I have found out city, suburbs, country, there is beauty in all of it. Except maybe Gary Indiana ( sorry folks from Gary}. HG48
