Well, I don't think it's all hype, and I don't see how just any company could do it. I know that there are other companies doing it, but from what I am learning, they charge much, much more for the service, to the point that the average parent has a tough time justifying it. The prices they charge are right, and they appear to have a fix on the cost/profit margin thing....in other words, they seem to have the prices fixed to a point where they can be profitable because of some things that they differently than other companies. Now, like I said, if I would have known I could do this when my children were born, I would have done it. So, if I would have done it,, then I have to beleive there are millions of oher people that will participate. I am about as pessimistic as they come...so convince me and you must have a product. Think about this too...as much time as I spend on the internet researching, reading and learning, I didn't know anything about this until last night. That is why that balance sheet is erratic...this is an awareness thing. They have a deal with babygear.com, Ivillage.com, and some other sites, but these are recent deals that have just been scored and the sites aren't even advertising it yet. These guys will make umbilical cord blood preservation a household phrase in a few years. Just watch.

As far as the stock goes, I have charted it and I have checked the liquidity, so I know that with patience and some luck, I can get a killer deal on the stock. (as long as the momo players leave it alone, I may be able to steal it in time.) I am a patient man Jack...and I am exercising patience. But at 50 million dollars, I won't hesitate too long...and if I buy it and it goes down in the short term...I just plain don't care. That's how I invest...when I invest. At 50 million dollars, the risk/reward ratio is hugely in my favor, but I like to think I have slightly better experience and tools that the average investor, so naturally I am going to try to get the best deal possible.

But I'm investing in this one...my mind is made up. Hell, I would be interested in selling these kits.

I don't think the stem cell research is all hype either FWIW. Yeah, the stocks got played up, but some of them are actually too cheap to begin with.
