Have weak sell signal on Dow/NYSE due to nonconfirm of high in index with advance/decline and high/low. A/D oscillator had turned negative after peaking a week ago. This coincides with my database signal ratio which has gone from 74 percent sells on Friday to 64 percent as the general market has been selling off.

Les, Both Ciena and SCMR have deals with Williams in different parts of the networks. I did hear a rumor that they were beaten by Ciena in the piece that Ciena got. Projections for next year are for better than 500-600 million in revenues. I see them as extremely expensive but impressive since they have been in existence since 4/98 or so and are on a torrid growth pace. Can you name another company that is 2.5 years old and on such a revenue pace? At present, I can't. JNPR and RBAK are older. also, I wish that I had taken a short position yesterday to play the sell the news game. tp
