Joel, Sorry but I do not have a clear read of sentiment ......as I am in Tel Aviv now taking care of my terminally ill father.

This experience gives me a complete different view of life.

My best guess is Monday flat to up and then down. High oil prices and trade deficit are taking their toll.

Fleck has some nice comments at the bottom of his wrap today about INFLATION and EMLX only proved the fact that US corporation can spread false or misleading financial statements and it is related to as truism on the other hand negative false statements are HOAXES.

See WSJ article about REAL CORPORATE EARNINGS which dropped apx 12.5% in 3 years, (after option compensation are deducted)but reported as an over 50% gain in earnings to shareholders.

Well reflection of the times resulting from the policies of the Clinton administration........ did I mention the $30 billion a month or so in trade deficit?

Do not worry be happy accounting entered a new era ....... September is another month.

Haim
